MAFE has continued to update the judges list. This list contains contact information for judge’s across the state, which is available to MAFE members.
If you are interested in obtaining a list of judges, please contact the MAFE office at [email protected] or 517.317.4544.

For the 2020 fair and exhibition season, MDARD will continue its policy of distributing official swine ID NUES tags to fairs, free of charge, for use with exhibition swine. Swine tags can still be ordered over the phone or through email; however, we encourage fairs to place their orders by December 16, 2019. Fairs that have ordered their tags can pick them up on January 9-10 in the MDARD Resource Center at the annual MAFE convention in Grand Rapids.

Please be sure to read the guidelines carefully before applying. A few things to note are:
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the fair industry. Be sure to nominate your outstanding volunteers for MAFE Heritage Award or Volunteer of Year application (youth or adult).

The Michigan Association of Fairs & Exhibitions works closely with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to communication the proper USDA identification requirements for animals at exhibitions.
